Description
Boswell Regional Center is seeking a qualified dentist to provide dental services for the BRC ICF/IDD Campus individuals in the Magee area and the group homes in the Magee area. The successful independent contractor will provide on-site dental care for up to four hours per week in the campus dental clinic and provide emergency dental services as needed in their clinic locations. The contract will be a firm fixed price, and the pricing will be determined through a multi-step sealed qualifications process. The evaluation of the Statements of Qualifications (SOQs) will be based on weighted scoring from the respondent's content, with factors including management, technical factors, and cost.
Some key requirements for the dentist include:
• A degree from a school of dentistry (DDS or DMD)
• Licensed to practice dentistry in the State of Mississippi
• Two years of experience as a dental provider
• Ability to provide routine examinations, dental cleaning, fillings, simple extractions, and dental x-rays
• Ability to make referrals as necessary for higher levels of dental care
• Ability to abide by all BRC policies and procedures, DMH policies, and CMS standards
