QuestaSim Software License

The National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST) is conducting market research to identify potential sources that can provide a QuestaSim Software License. The alternative computing group requires the purchase of Questsim VHDL/Verilog Simulation and Verification Software license for developing a Field Programmable Gate Array (FPGA) design. The project involves programming and reading memory devices, along with offloading computationally intensive tasks to the FPGAs. • The QuestaSim software will be used to simulate and verify the entire FPGA design with various constraints. • The software will be installed in the lab server and will be accessible to engineers and scientists through floating license features. • NIST anticipates that it will require equipment similar to those in the draft SOW beginning on February 1, 2026, and intends to conduct a competitive acquisition. • Interested parties are invited to submit responses to the notice, including company summary, draft SOW, standard commercial pricing, and existing contract vehicles.
