Request for Qualifications for CDBG Engineering Services

The Marion County Board of Supervisors is seeking qualified firms or individuals to provide engineering services for a proposed FY 2026 Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) project. The engineer will be responsible for performing all engineering services through project closeout, including preparing preliminary engineering reports and cost estimates, plans and specifications, bid documents, and construction inspection. The scope of work includes but is not limited to the following: • Prepare preliminary engineering report and cost estimates for the proposed CDBG application • Prepare plans and specifications • Distribute bid documents • Assist in bid opening and prepare bid tabulation • Assist in the execution of construction contracts • Hold pre-construction conference • Perform construction inspection including periodic reports to the County and approve all payment requests The County encourages Minority-owned Business Enterprises (MBEs) and Woman-owned Business Enterprises (WBES) to submit proposals. Proposals will be evaluated on the following factors: Qualifications, Experience, and Capacity for Performance.
