Description
The State Highway Administration is seeking a contractor to provide handyman services for the District Six Office. The contractor will be responsible for performing tasks such as painting, wall repair, flooring repair, and general carpentry work. The contract will be for a period of two years, and the contractor must be able to start work within five working days of authorization. The contractor must also be able to respond to emergency calls within two hours of notification. Some of the key responsibilities of the contractor include:
• Providing all labor, tools, and expertise necessary to perform the required tasks
• Coordinating with other trades to complete projects
• Maintaining all necessary insurance coverages
• Complying with all federal, state, and local laws applicable to the contract
• Providing a lead worker/carpenter, painter, and general laborer as needed
• Submitting invoices in accordance with the contract requirements
• Participating in a kickoff meeting and any other meetings as required by the State
