Construction Administration and Inspection Services for 3rd Street and Harris Street Stairs, Boardwalk, and Utilities Upgrade

The City and Borough of Juneau is seeking a consultant to provide contract administration and inspection services for the 3rd Street and Harris Street Stairs, Boardwalk, and Utilities Upgrade project. The project involves the replacement of 250-300 feet of stair and boardwalk structure, as well as the replacement and upgrade of water and sewer lines. The consultant will be responsible for ensuring that the contractor constructs the work in accordance with the authorized drawings and specifications. The scope of work includes contract administration, inspection services, materials testing, and quality control. The consultant will also be responsible for preparing as-built drawings and obtaining field measurements. • The project is expected to be completed within 150 days of commencement. • The consultant will be required to provide a construction schedule and plan of operations. • The consultant will be responsible for coordinating with adjacent property owners and the public during construction. • The consultant will be required to provide notice to all property owners and the CBJ General Engineering Division when new water or sewer permits are obtainable. • The consultant will be responsible for certifying that each item or section of the work was completed in accordance with the drawings and specifications.
