Engineering assistance in applying for a TAP grant for a small village Main St.

The Village of Scottsville is soliciting qualifications from qualified engineering firms for assistance with preparing an application for the 2026 TAP (Transportation Alternatives Program). The goal of the project is to create safe, uniform, ADA compliant, pedestrian friendly sidewalks on our Village Main Street, as well as safer ways to walk to cross the street. Bike lanes are also planned, which will serve as an additional conduit to and through the Village. We expect that the visual components of this project, along with some beautification efforts (funded by the Village and Main Street businesses) will serve as traffic calming measures.
