Description
The Seminole County Board of Commissioners is seeking bids for the construction of the FY 2025 LMIG SAP - Off System Safety Improvements. The project includes the construction of 3 roads totaling approximately 51 linear miles of traffic striping, raised pavement markers, stop bar striping, and all associated measures. The work shall be completed in accordance with the plans and specifications, and the time allotted for completion is 180 consecutive calendar days to substantial completion, with a total of 194 consecutive calendar days for contract close-out.
• The project is funded by a grant from the Georgia Department of Transportation, Local Special Purpose Local Option Sales Tax (SPLOST), and Off System Safety Local Maintenance & Improvement Grant (LMIG).
• Bidders must be pre-qualified Georgia Department of Transportation Contractors.
• Bidders must submit a Bid Bond or a certified cashier’s check in an amount not less than ten percent (10%) of the amount bid.
• The successful bidder will be required to furnish a Performance Bond and Payment Bond, each in the amount of one hundred percent (100%) of the Contract amount.
