Description
The City of Cincinnati is seeking bids for the Fire Flow Cluster WMR and Bethany Road (SR 741 TO US 42) WMR project. The project involves furnishing all materials, labor, and equipment and performing all work necessary to furnish and install ductile iron pipe and fittings, copper pipe and fittings, and other work necessary or incidental to the installation of the proposed water main. The estimated quantities indicated will be used solely for the purpose of making a tabulation of the bids. Bidders are required to complete the Excel pricing sheet in the shaded areas. The City reserves the right to review substitutions offered and may elect to award based on the offered substitution. The City also reserves the right to accept or reject any or all add and/or deduct alternates. The contract will be awarded to the lowest and best responsive bidder.
• The project includes the installation of water mains and other related work.
• The contractor will be required to provide performance surety in the amount of 100% of the contract value.
• The contractor will be responsible for furnishing all materials, labor, and equipment necessary for the project.
• The City will require surety for 100% of the estimated private lead service line replacement work in advance.
• The successful bidder will be required to provide surety for 100% of the estimated private lead service line replacement work at the time of contract execution.
