The City of Green River Parks and Recreation Department is soliciting proposals from qualified contractors for professional tree pruning, tree removal, and stump removal services. The project is part of the Green River Urban Tree Canopy Revitalization and Maintenance Project, funded through a grant from the Wyoming State Forestry Division. The goal is to address aging and hazardous trees, enhance public safety, and sustain the community's urban canopy. The project includes tree pruning, tree and stump removal, coordination with city parks staff, site restoration, and permitting and traffic control. The contractor must have an ISA Certified Arborist on staff, be licensed and insured in the State of Wyoming, and have demonstrated experience with municipal tree inventories and GIS integration.
• Tree Pruning: Remove deadwood, hazardous limbs, and structurally unsound growth.
• Tree and Stump Removal: Safe removal and disposal of high-risk or dead trees and associated stumps.
• Coordination with City Parks Staff: Validate locations/conditions in the City's GIS-based inventory and update the inventory to reflect completed work.
• Site Restoration: Backfill holes, restore disturbed areas, and remove all debris daily.
• Permitting and Traffic Control: As needed, especially within ROW or along Flaming Gorge Way.
