Description
The Texas Department of State Health Services is seeking bids for the purchase of 4 new gel chambers for use in the Newborn Screening Hemoglobinopathy Laboratory. The required goods must meet specific specifications, including the ability to work with an isoelectric-focusing system and run Revvity RESOLVETM Hemoglobin kit. Bidders must submit a comprehensive response, including all required information and documentation, by the deadline of November 21, 2025, at 10:30 AM.
• The gel chambers must be able to operate with an in-place isoelectric-focusing system.
• The equipment must be able to run with specific configurations and have a mechanism to allow the electrophoresis unit to be leveled.
• The cooling plate must accommodate a gel of at minimum 8.0” x 9.5”.
• The equipment must pass a validation/verification process conducted after delivery.
• Bidders must include a copy of the instrument manual and sufficient literature to allow evaluation of the items.
• Bidders must comply with all requirements and specifications outlined in the IFB.
