Description
The City of Cartersville is seeking a qualified aviation consulting firm to provide professional on-call engineering, architectural, and construction inspection/administration services for the Cartersville Airport. The selected consultant will negotiate and enter into individual sub-agreements for services based on the scope of work with the City of Cartersville on an assignment-by-assignment basis during the term of the Master Agreement. The services are limited to projects that the City of Cartersville expects to initiate within five years of the effective date of the Master Agreement.
• The consultant will provide design, engineering, and construction services for various airport projects, including airfield drainage systems, pavement, lighting, and NAVAIDs/ILS improvements.
• The consultant will assist with DBE program overall goal updates and program administration.
• The consultant will perform construction administration and resident inspection services.
• The consultant will provide regulatory familiarity with the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) Atlanta District Office and Georgia Department of Transportation (GDOT) Aviation Programs.
