Single Prisoner Transport Systems

The Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission is seeking competitive bids for the fabrication of custom 1/4 single prisoner transport systems. The systems must be versatile and able to mount within FWC patrol vehicles with minimal labor and no alteration to the vehicle. The contract will be effective for three years, with the option to renew for up to three years. The bidder must provide a price for each year that the contract may be renewed. The Commission will award the bid to the responsive, responsible bidder who submits the lowest bid price. Key points to consider: • The Single Transport System must be constructed out of 16-gauge sheet metal • The system must be able to be recycled and used in later model year FWC patrol vehicles with possible minor changes to brackets • The system shall not interfere with PMT custom built console or gun lock box within the FWC patrol vehicle • A sample single prisoner transport system must be sent for inspection and approval by the Operational Support Section before production can begin • The bidder must provide a price for each year that the contract may be renewed
