Reverse Osmosis Water System

The Department of Veterans Affairs is seeking a contractor to provide Reverse Osmosis Water System services, including a base year and four option years of basic monthly service agreement coverage. The contractor will be responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, repairing, and validating the existing system, as well as providing 24-hour emergency services. The system is located in the Research Service, Room V203, at the South Texas Veterans Health Care System. The contractor must have demonstrated expertise in deionized water and reverse osmosis water systems and be an authorized service provider of Water Solutions Co. Some key tasks include: • Performing water softener service with a 6-point check on controls of the water softener valve • Exchanging carbon tanks with a new activated carbon tank every 6 months • Performing a 16-point check of RO system controls, water flows, and pressures • Providing monthly service and validation reports The contractor must also comply with all facility safety, security, infection control, and access requirements while on Government property.
