Description
The State Highway Administration is soliciting bids for a qualified contractor to provide plumbing services at the Churchville Maintenance Facility and satellite locations in Harford County, Maryland. The contract will be for a period of 24 months, and the contractor will be required to provide licensed plumbing repairs, installation, maintenance, and remodeling services on an as-needed basis. The contractor must have a minimum of 5 years of experience, a current State of Maryland Plumbers License, and liability insurance in the amount of $1,000,000. The contractor will be responsible for furnishing all labor, supervision, miscellaneous parts, equipment, tools, transportation, and methods of communication for the work performed.
• The scope of work includes plumbing services such as repairs, maintenance, and remodeling of plumbing systems, emergency response, design, installation, and troubleshooting.
• The contractor must maintain a stocked service truck with materials, tools, ladders, lifts, and equipment to provide plumbing services.
• The contractor must be available on a 24-hour basis for emergency work and must supply a monitored 24-hour phone number for service.
• The contract will be awarded to the responsible bidder submitting a responsive bid with the most favorable bid price.
