Description
The Palm Beach County Board of County Commissioners is seeking pre-qualified vendors to provide HVAC duct cleaning services on a lump sum, term contract basis. The contract will be awarded to the lowest responsive, responsible respondent or bidder, unless a certified small business enterprise's (SBE) bid is within ten percent of the lowest non-small business bid. The successful vendor will be required to comply with the County's Commercial Nondiscrimination Policy and provide equal opportunity for subcontractors, subconsultants, vendors, and suppliers to participate in all of its public sector and private sector subcontracting and supply opportunities.
Some key points to note include:
• Vendors must submit their Request for Pre-Qualification responses on the provided form, signed by an agent of the company having authority to bind the company or firm.
• Vendors must include a copy of all applicable Certificates of Competency issued by the State of Florida or the Palm Beach County Construction Industry Licensing Board.
• Vendors must maintain a current Business Tax Receipt for Palm Beach County and all permits required to complete the contractual service at no additional cost to Palm Beach County.
• The County has an Equal Business Opportunity (EBO) Ordinance, which sets forth the County's requirements for the EBO Program, and is incorporated in this solicitation.
