Description
The City of Salina is seeking a qualified contractor to demolish the existing scale house, perform extensive earthwork, construct a new scale house building with full MEP systems, install two truck scales, and complete associated site improvements such as paving, curbs, sidewalks, and drainage. The scope covers complete site preparation, structural work, utility coordination, and final finish work on a municipal solid waste landfill facility. Bids must be submitted as firm unit‑price proposals by the revised deadline.
• Demolition of existing scale house and disposal of materials.
• Earthwork, grading, structural fill, and pavement (asphalt and concrete).
• New building construction with full architectural, structural, mechanical, electrical, and plumbing components.
• Supply and installation of two truck scales with foundations and approach slabs.
• Drainage, storm‑water controls, and utility coordination (electric, water, sewer, communications).
