Derelict Vessel Removal, Transport, and Disposal - 27' Watkins

The Escambia County Marine Resources Division is seeking a contractor to remove, transport, and dispose of a 27-foot derelict vessel. The vessel is currently located in Bayou Chico, and the contractor will be responsible for floating, removing, and transporting the vessel to the Perdido Landfill for disposal. The contractor will also be required to photo-document the removal process and provide daily written reports to the County. The project is expected to be completed within 14 calendar days of the Notice to Proceed. • The contractor will be responsible for removing all contaminants and pollutants from the vessel prior to disposal. • The contractor will be required to provide proof of insurance and comply with all applicable laws and regulations. • The contractor will be responsible for paying the tipping fees for the vessel at the landfill. • The contractor will be required to provide a daily written report of all removal activities to the County. • The contractor will be responsible for photo-documenting all removal activities.
