Instrumentation and Flow Meter Calibration Services

The Washington Suburban Sanitary Commission (WSSC) is seeking a qualified contractor to provide instrumentation and flow meter calibration services for its water and wastewater collection and treatment systems. The contractor will be responsible for providing scheduled and on-call calibration, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair services for instrumentation and flow metering equipment. The contractor must have a minimum of 5 years of experience in calibrating and maintaining wastewater instrumentation and must provide proof of certifications and qualifications for key personnel. The contract has a base term and option term, with the possibility of annual price adjustments. • The contractor will be required to perform quarterly inspections of flow meters and provide calibration certificates within 5 business days of service. • The contractor will be required to maintain a digital log of all NIST traceable instruments serviced, including serial numbers, service history, and next due dates. • The contractor will be required to provide service reports for each visit detailing work performed, issues found, and recommendations. • The contractor will be required to respond to emergency calls within 4 hours and routine maintenance and repair services within 24 hours.
