Sole Source Contract for GridION Instrument and Services

The South Carolina Department of Public Health (DPH) is seeking to enter into a sole source contract with a vendor to provide one GridION instrument, along with various support services and training. The instrument must be able to sequence up to 4,000 Kb in a single read and produce interoperable sequence data in real-time. The total estimated dollar amount of the service contract purchase is $86,000.00. • The GridION instrument must be able to sequence up to 4,000 Kb in a single read. • The instrument must be able to produce interoperable sequence data in real-time. • The vendor must provide a manufacturer’s warranty for the instrument. • The vendor must provide 1x GridION Sequencing Device Mk1, 1x Standard Support 12 Months – GridION, 1x Assurance – GridION, GridION Advanced Nanopore Training, and Standard Support 24 Months – GridION.
