Description of Goods or Services to Be Bid. MTA Construction & Development (MTA C&D) is seeking to retain the services of a consultant firm to provide Design Services for Travelers at the Bronx Whitestone (BW-9K) and Robert F. Kennedy (RK-9K) Bridges. The scope of services encompasses two tasks for the respective bridges as described below: a. Task No. 1 – Conceptual design, preliminary design, and Design-Build Contract Request for Proposal (“RFP”) development, including support during procurement for BW-9K Traveler Replacement at the BWB. b. Task No. 2 – Conceptual design, preliminary designs, and Design-Build Contract RFP development, including support during procurement for RK-9K New Travelers at the East River suspended portion of the RFK Bridge. A Pre-Proposal Conference will be held at 1:00 PM on November 3, 2026, via Microsoft Teams.
