2310--Electric Automobile Ambulance

The Department of Veterans Affairs is seeking sources capable of providing Vantage LIV9DC Lithium Cargo Van ambulances. The ambulances must have an electric powered train, lithium batteries, and various features such as locking doors, power steering, and emergency flashers. The purpose of this Sources Sought Notice / RFI is to gain information about potential qualified sources and their size classification relative to NAICS 336211. Some key points to consider: • The ambulances must be able to accommodate a 30" wide and 84" long stretcher and have a seat for a medical attendant. • The ambulances must have equipment storage spaces for supplies and accessories. • The ambulances must be equipped with air conditioning, a heater, and other features such as headlights and a horn. • The ambulances must have a decal or paint on the outside identifying them as Emergency Response Vehicles. • The government is seeking information about the lead time to deliver a single unit, the estimated life span of the solution, and any support or services that entail. • The government is also seeking information about FDA clearance, leasing solutions, and Federal Supply Schedule contracts.
