Well Abandonment McCarty Extension

The City of Port St. Lucie is seeking a qualified contractor to provide well abandonment services for the McCarty Ranch Extension property. The scope of work includes abandoning one flowing well, which requires clearing, geophysical logging, and grouting. The contractor must have experience in well abandonment and must comply with all applicable laws and regulations. The contract term is for one year, and the city reserves the right to extend the contract for an additional period. The key responsibilities of the contractor include: • Providing all labor, materials, equipment, and incidentals necessary for the abandonment of the well • Complying with the South Florida Water Management District (SFWMD) and Florida Department of Environmental Protection (FDEP) rules and regulations • Obtaining all necessary permits and approvals • Performing geophysical logging and video logging • Grouting the well in accordance with the AWWA A100-06 standard • Maintaining a safe and clean work site • Providing a detailed daily driller's report and a well completion report
