Water and Sewer System Expansion and Improvements

The Rabun County Water and Sewer Authority is seeking Statements of Qualifications from professional engineering design firms for the expansion and improvement of their water and sewer system. The project includes the expansion and improvement of sanitary sewer collection, pumping, and treatment systems, as well as potential future projects for water distribution facilities. The selected firm will provide preliminary engineering, surveying, design, permitting, bidding, and construction phase services. The Authority is looking for firms with experience in federally funded projects and a strong record of successfully assisting local governments. • The project is expected to be completed over several years, with the possibility of additional projects and contract addendums. • The Authority is seeking firms with experience in federally funded projects, including Appalachian Regional Commission, Community Development Block Grants, and US Department of Commerce Economic Development Administration projects. • The evaluation criteria include firm history, familiarity with the community, key personnel, proposed approach, experience with federally funded projects, and current workload. • The selected firm will be required to provide an updated Statement of Qualifications during the 3-year period.
