Portland International Airport Terminal and Concourses Wayfinding Signage

Port of Portland is seeking a design‑build contractor to provide full way‑finding signage for the Portland International Airport terminal and concourses, including demolition of existing signage, structural and electrical installation, and integration of low‑voltage lighting/dimming and structured‑cabling systems. The scope covers sign fabrication, raceway and panel installation, dimming control networks, and all related construction‑document requirements. The contract will be awarded to the lowest responsive base bid, with an optional additive sign group. • Provide way‑finding sign groups (up to 5 LS units) with associated structural supports and electrical power/low‑voltage circuitry. • Perform demolition of existing signage, patch and repair finishes, and install new illuminated, emergency, and flag‑mount signs. • Deliver full electrical and communications infrastructure (raceways, panels, DMX/DMX‑512 dimming controls, Category 6A cabling) to support signage operation. • Comply with FAA Buy‑American, prevailing‑wage, and safety regulations; supply performance and payment bonds equal to the contract price. • Meet a 347‑day substantial‑completion schedule after Notice to Proceed, with $500/day liquidated damages for delay.
