ANNUAL CONTRACT FOR DIESEL FUEL POLISHING, BIOCIDE TREATMENT

The San Antonio Water System is soliciting bids to provide diesel fuel polishing and biocide treatment for up to sixty emergency generator fuel tanks. The purpose of this requirement is to facilitate SAWS Generator Reliability Initiative, mitigating particulate contamination, microbial growth, and fuel degradation. The successful bidder will be required to furnish any and all items upon which prices are offered, at the price(s) and upon the terms and conditions contained in the specifications. Key aspects of the job include: • Providing diesel fuel polishing and biocide treatment for emergency generator fuel tanks • Mitigating particulate contamination, microbial growth, and fuel degradation • Ensuring operational readiness during emergency and standby power events • Complying with SAWS' Small Business Opportunities Program (SBOP) policy • Submitting a Good Faith Effort Plan as part of the response • Utilizing the Subcontractor Payment and Utilization Reporting (S.P.U.R.) System for payment reporting
