Description

The U.S. Army Contracting Command – New Jersey (ACC-NJ) is seeking industry partners for the Lethal Innovation Foundry Technologies (LIFT) program. The program aims to establish Cooperative Research and Development Agreements (CRADAs) with industry to explore new technologies for the Army's 6.8mm weapons systems, fire control/optics, and ammunition. The program has four Research Areas of Interest (RAIs): 6.8mm Weapons Systems, Fire Control & Optics, Advanced Ammunition, and Enabling Technologies. Interested vendors should submit their proposed research and technology using the attached LIFT Scope Template. • The program provides a mechanism for industry to submit innovative ideas and technologies for government assessment. • The government can provide Government Furnished Property (GFP) to facilitate research. • The program is designed to create a collaborative environment between the government and industry. • The government will evaluate submissions based on overall scientific and technical merit, relevance to the Army mission, and GFP realism and value.
