CHJCF Food Service Freezer Repairs

The Ohio Department of Youth Services is seeking a qualified vendor to replace the condensers and evaporators on two food‑service freezers (designated “F2” and “F3”) at the Cuyahoga Hills Juvenile Correctional Facility. The work includes full shutdown, removal of existing equipment, installation of new refrigeration lines, condenser and evaporator packages, charging with refrigerant, and testing for leaks, along with providing warranties for both equipment and workmanship. Bidders must attend a mandatory site visit on May 13th and submit a cost proposal through OhioBuys that includes all labor, equipment, and any additional work required to make the systems fully functional. The contract will be awarded to the lowest responsive and responsible bidder, and the quote must remain valid for 60 days. • Shut‑off water valves, discharge refrigerant, and perform LOTO procedures. • Remove existing condenser and evaporator units, install new refrigeration lines, new condenser/evaporator packages, and associated electrical/piping. • Charge systems with new refrigerant, pressurize, test for leaks, and provide a complete equipment list with manufacturer warranties.
