Old Town Streetscape Phase 2 Project

The City of Elk Grove is seeking a qualified contractor to rebuild a 1‑mile corridor of Elk Grove Boulevard (School St → Waterman Rd) with full streetscape improvements. The scope includes roadway reconstruction, addition of bike lanes, ADA‑compliant sidewalks and curb ramps, new traffic signals and rapid‑flashing beacon, upgraded drainage, utility joint‑trench work, utility adjustments, street lighting, signage, striping, landscaping, irrigation, and related site furnishings. The contract is fixed‑price, funded with federal aid, and requires a Class A General Engineering license (plus Class C‑27 for landscaping) and full DIR registration. Bids must be submitted electronically via PlanetBids with a 10 % bid bond; performance and payment bonds are required at 100 % of the award. The project schedule is 300 working days with an anticipated 80‑day utility‑work suspension.
