Description
The Department of Veterans Affairs is conducting market research to identify capable vendors who can provide a Software as a Service (SaaS) solution for a Document Control System. The system should be able to manage and store laboratory-related documentation, provide audit readiness, monitor staff training and compliance, and facilitate reporting and tracking of deviations from standard procedures. The solution must be cloud-based and support 800+ users across 14 sites. The contract is expected to be a firm-fixed-price contract for a 1-year base period with 4 option periods.
• The system must support document lifecycle management, audit readiness, and training, compliance, and continuing education tracking.
• The solution must be cloud-based and describe system scalability to support 800+ users across 14 sites.
• The system must meet Federal Information Processing Standard (FIPS) 140-2 encryption requirements and have a FedRAMP authorization status.
• The solution must support role-based access and permissions, task management and escalation workflows, and reporting and dashboard capabilities.
