The National Park Service intends to award a single source justified cooperative agreement to the University of Wyoming for the UW/NPS Research Center Support project. The project aims to support up to a dozen research grants for university research projects to study the natural and cultural resources of the national parks of the Greater Yellowstone Ecosystem, and to provide two student internships. The project will engage recipients, partners, communities, and/or visitors in shared environmental stewardship, promote greater public and private participation in historic preservation programs and activities, and support the Government's objective to provide opportunities for youth to learn about the environment.
