Description
California State Polytechnic University, Pomona is seeking a single service provider to plan, manage, coordinate, and oversee all aspects of Lighting, Audio and Visual Services for the 2026 Commencement Ceremonies. The University hosts annual Commencement ceremonies, consisting of multiple ceremonies at one site, over a three-day period in May 2026. The selected provider will be responsible for providing lighting, audio, and visual services, including main stage lighting, right and left stage décor up-lighting, main stage seal spotlight, and main event LED Screen. The provider will also be responsible for providing sound system equipment and staff, including technicians for load-in, set-up, operation, and load-out.
• The provider must have at least five years of experience in higher education events.
• The provider must meet the DVBE participation requirement of 3%.
• The provider will be required to submit a proposal that includes a detailed description of the services to be provided, a pricing breakdown, and any relevant certifications or licenses.
• The University reserves the right to reject any or all proposals and to waive informalities and minor irregularities in proposals received.
• The University encourages all proposers to resolve issues regarding the requirements of this RFP or the procurement process through written correspondence and discussions.
