Description

The City of West Palm Beach is seeking qualified contractors to perform analysis and laboratory testing of algal toxins in surface water sources and related process controls on an as‑needed basis. The work will support the city’s water quality monitoring program and ensure compliance with state and federal environmental standards. • Perform sample collection, preservation, and transport for surface water and process‑control points. • Conduct laboratory analyses for a suite of algal toxins (e.g., microcystins, anatoxins, cylindrospermopsin) using EPA‑approved methods. • Provide detailed analytical reports, data interpretation, and recommendations for mitigation or corrective actions. • Maintain certification and quality‑assurance protocols; be prepared for occasional on‑site support or rapid‑turnaround testing. • Supply all required documentation and certifications (e.g., W‑9, vendor application) as part of the bid package.
