Description
The Heard County School System is seeking a contractor to provide custodial services for its facilities. The contractor will be responsible for daily cleaning, labor and supervision of custodial staff, and consumable supply stock. The contract is expected to begin on January 1, 2026, and continue through May 31, 2027, with an option for annual renewal. The contractor must provide all necessary equipment, supplies, and personnel to meet the expectations of the school system.
Key aspects of the job include:
* Daily cleaning of all facilities, including restrooms, offices, classrooms, and common areas
* Provision of all consumable supplies, including cleaning supplies and chemicals
* Labor and supervision of custodial staff
* Compliance with all statutes of the Equal Opportunity Employer Act of the state of Georgia and maintenance of a drug-free workplace
* Background checks for all employees
* Provision of uniforms for all employees
* Compliance with all federal, state, and local laws, codes, and regulations
