Description
The Okolona Area Chamber/Main Street is seeking proposals for the construction of a splash pad park. The project will entail concrete work, plumbing, excavation, electrical work, and the construction of an overhead pavilion and concrete sidewalk. The contractor will be responsible for ensuring compliance with all applicable laws and regulations, including those related to employment, environmental protection, and procurement. The contractor must also provide a signed understanding of the terms and conditions of the contract and acknowledge receipt of the request for proposal within 14 working days.
• The project will require the contractor to provide a proposal that includes contact information, years of existence as a business, qualifications of all persons offered or expected to perform services, rates for each individual, and three job project references.
• The contractor must also provide General Liability insurance with a coverage of One Million Dollars ($1,000,000.00) and comply with all applicable federal statutes and regulations.
• The contractor will be required to submit an employment plan within seven days after the award of the contract, which shall include the types of jobs involved, skill level, wage information, and recruitment plans for low-wage and unemployed individuals.
