Financial Advisor Consulting Services

The City of Weslaco is seeking to retain the services of qualified and experienced financial advisors to provide independent professional bond and borrowing related consulting services on a continuing basis. The selected vendor will provide the City with professional consulting services related to the issuance and management of debt. The scope of work includes tasks such as providing independent financial advice, managing the debt financing process, evaluating the City's debt structure, and assisting in the selection of a financing team. The contract will be for an initial term of three years, with the option to extend for up to two additional years. • Provide independent financial advice based on the best interest of the City • Manage the debt financing process • Evaluate the City's debt structure and financial resources • Assist in the selection of a financing team • Provide support in preparation of the city's yearly audit
