Description
The National Institute of Health, Clinical Center (NIH-CC) is intending to negotiate a sole source contract with Mission Bio for the purchase of Tapestri Single-Cell DNA + Protein Reagent kit v3 and Tapestri Single-Cell DNA Cartridge Kit v3. The kits will be used by the Center for Cellular Engineering (CCE) to investigate differential gene expression and protein expression simultaneously at the single cell level. The CCE is responsible for the manufacture of human cells and tissue-based products utilized in phase I/II clinical protocols.
• The Tapestri platform from Mission Bio will be used to facilitate single cell genotyping and phenotyping.
• The kits will help develop clinical lot release more efficiently and streamline the workflow of CAR T cells manufacturing at CCE and clinical research.
• The statutory authority for this sole source requirement is 41 U.S.C. 253(c) (1) as implemented by FAR 6.302-1.
