Two (2) Year Contract to Provide Labor, Materials, and Equipment

The Jefferson Parish Parkways Department is soliciting bids from qualified contractors to provide labor, materials, and equipment for turnkey landscape bed maintenance operations. The contract period shall be for two years, with all work occurring through a combination of scheduled and as-needed maintenance. The contractor will be responsible for performing tasks such as chemical weeding, hand weeding, shrub pruning, and sod replacement, among others. • The contractor must possess a Louisiana State Contractor's License with the classification of Specialty: Landscape, Grading, and Beautification. • The contractor must also possess various licenses and certifications, including a Louisiana Department of Agriculture & Forestry State Landscape Horticulturalist License and a Louisiana Department of Agriculture & Forestry Ground Owner Operator License. • The contractor will be required to provide unit pricing for various tasks, including chemical applications and shrub replacement. • The contractor will be paid on a monthly basis, with the monthly maintenance price being the same for each of the contract's 24 months. • The contractor will be required to provide insurance certificates that fully comply with the parish's standard insurance requirements.
