Description
The City of Henderson, Kentucky is seeking competitive sealed bids for the purchase of a hydraulic extrication tool for the Henderson Fire Department. The tool must meet specific technical specifications, including weight, size, and performance criteria. The successful bidder will be required to provide all necessary equipment, accessories, and documentation. The contract will be awarded to the lowest responsible and responsive bidder whose bid meets the specifications.
• The hydraulic combination tool shall weigh no more than 46.3 pounds
• The tool shall not exceed 38.1 inches in length, not more than 9.3 inches in width, and no more than 9.5 inches in height
• The combination tool shall be third-party tested and certified to NFPA 1936-2020
• The combination tool shall have an open spreading width of at least 15.9 inches
• The combination tool shall have an NFPA Lowest Spreading Force (LSF) of at least 6,525 lbf, per third-party testing and in compliance with NFPA 1936
