Description
The Kansas Department of Transportation is seeking bids for a Light Duty Self Propelled Paver. The paver should have a minimum hopper capacity of 8 1/2 tons, a paving depth from 0" to 6" with a ±2" crown and valley system, and a transport width not exceeding 8'6". The unit should also have a hydrostatically driven system, a full shape, free floating, 15" wide main screed, and 8” wide extensions minimum. The contractor must comply with all federal and state laws relating to immigration and reform, and must not discriminate against any person because of race, color, gender, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, religion, national origin, ancestry, age, military or veteran status, disability status, marital or family status, genetic information, or political affiliation.
• The project requires the delivery of two units, with an option for additional units.
• The contractor must provide a cost sheet with pricing for one unit and alternate pricing for an undetermined quantity.
• The contract term is one year, with an option for renewal.
• The contractor must comply with all applicable state and federal laws and regulations.
• The contractor must provide a Tax Clearance Certificate and comply with the Immigration Reform and Control Act of 1986.
• The contractor must not be engaged in a boycott of goods or services from Israel.
• The contractor must not provide or procure covered telecommunications equipment or services.
