Proposal for Mechanical Engineering and Design Services

The Navajo Nation Facilities Maintenance Department seeks a qualified engineering and construction firm to design, demolish, and install a new non‑boiler HVAC system for the Department of Diné Education building in Window Rock, AZ. The contract covers full engineering design, removal of existing equipment, installation of new heating, cooling, ventilation, and control systems, training of FMD staff, and a minimum five‑year warranty. All work must be completed between mid‑March and late‑November 2026, and proposals are due early January 2026. • Full mechanical engineering design and on‑site field verification for a new HVAC solution. • Demolition of existing boiler and related components, followed by installation of non‑proprietary equipment, electrical, plumbing, and air‑balancing work. • Delivery of as‑built documentation, O&M manuals, warranty certificates, and on‑site training for FMD personnel. • Compliance with Navajo Nation procurement rules, insurance, bonding, and a 5‑year manufacturer warranty plus 1‑year parts & labor warranty.
