Fundraising and Engagement Platform

Virginia Tech is seeking a comprehensive cloud-hosted Software as a Service (SaaS) solution to support Virginia Tech Advancement’s annual Giving Day initiative. The platform must deliver a seamless, branded donor experience while supporting high-volume transactions, real-time engagement, and robust administrative functionality. Key features include advanced ambassador functionality, integration with Blackbaud CRM, and support for mobile wallet payments. The selected solution will replace the current Giving Day platform and must be fully implemented in time for the Triumph Together campaign in August 2026. • The platform must be PCI DSS compliant and support secure payment processing. • The platform must integrate with Virginia Tech-approved payment processors, including Braintree. • The platform must support real-time data exchange with Blackbaud CRM for donor records, fund mapping, and gift processing. • The platform must offer robust Application Programming Interface (API) connectivity for batch uploads, offline gift entry, and real-time reporting. • The platform must support mobile wallet payments, including ApplePay, Venmo, PayPal, GooglePay, and cryptocurrency.
