Welding repairs and services

The City of Long Beach is seeking vendors to provide welding repairs and services. The contractor will provide all labor, materials, equipment, tools, transportation, and supervision necessary for providing the City welding and allied services at various locations within the City of Long Beach. The contract will be for a period of two years with the option to renew for three additional one-year periods. Key services include: welding and machine shop work on materials delivered to the contractor's shop, field equipment consisting of standard manufacture mobil D.C. welding machines, and provision of all necessary equipment and materials. • The contractor must be capable of welding and fabricating stainless, carbon steel, and/or aluminum in either shop or field settings. • The contractor shall furnish all materials and supplies necessary to perform the work with some exceptions. • The City reserves the right to inspect the contractor's facility during normal business hours prior to award of the contract. • The contractor shall comply with all applicable nondiscrimination requirements and regulations.
