Description
The Commonwealth of Kentucky, Department for Juvenile Justice, is seeking bids for the complete mechanical renovation of the Woodsbend Youth Development Center main building. The primary scope of work includes demolition of the existing water source heat pump system and replacing it with a new system. The project requires the installation of packaged and split system direct expansion units.
• The project is located at 163 Woodsbend Boys Camp Rd, West Liberty, KY 41472.
• The main building serves as a housing unit, dining facility, and administrative offices.
• The current mechanical system is a water-source heat pump loop with a cooling tower and electric boiler, which is no longer functionally in-line with the needs of the facility.
• A site visit is scheduled for 06/02/2026 at 10:00 A.M. Eastern Time.
• All procurement questions shall be directed to the buyer of record for this project.
