Town of Ansonville Housing Rehabilitation Construction Service "General Contractor Solicitation"

The Town of Ansonville is seeking qualified, licensed general contractors to provide housing rehabilitation services for approximately 5 low/moderate income, owner-occupied single-family properties. The scope of work includes removal of interior walls, electrical system upgrades, plumbing system upgrades, installation of new HVAC units, insulation, repair of defective floors, installation of new siding, doors, and windows, and more. Contractors will be required to participate in regular virtual meetings and weekly virtual inspections to ensure compliance with work write-ups and housing code needs. • The project is funded by a grant from the North Carolina Department of Commerce. • The town is working with the Centralina Regional Council as the grant support contractor. • Contractors must submit a completed application and bid by August 4th, 2026. • The bid amount should be based only on the rehabilitation/reconstruction work in the Work Write-Up. • Contractors must abide by Federal and Local Regulations pertaining to Equal Opportunity Employment.
