The Waterford Township Board of Education is seeking a licensed New Jersey school nurse to provide comprehensive health services for the 2026‑2027 academic year across its schools. The contractor will be responsible for routine health assessments, health education, emergency care, record‑keeping, counseling, and collaboration with school staff and external health providers, working approximately 5½ hours per day for 180 working days. The contract is a one‑year, flat‑fee arrangement; the award will be based on the most advantageous proposal rather than lowest price, and a full suite of certifications, insurance, background‑check, and disclosure documentation is required.
• Perform pupil health appraisals, vision/hearing screenings, and coordinate with the school physician.
• Deliver health instruction, support Child Study Teams, and provide counseling to students, parents, and staff.
• Provide first‑aid, emergency care, maintain health records, prepare monthly reports, and fulfill numerous administrative duties.
• Must hold a valid NJ school‑nurse license, meet extensive insurance and compliance requirements, and submit original‑signed, duplicate sealed proposals by the July 8 deadline.
