Description
The City of Columbus is seeking proposals for the construction of the Pine Grove Municipal Solid Waste Landfill, Phase 5, Cells 5A-5C. The project includes the construction of approximately 195,500 CY of excavation, 50,110 CY of structural fill, and other related items. A mandatory pre-proposal conference will be held on March 11, 2026. Proposals are due by March 27, 2026, at 5:00 PM ET.
• The project consists of construction of various items, including excavation, structural fill, low permeability linear base, HDPE geomembrane and leachate collection layer material, leachate collection pipe, dual-contained HDPE forcemain, leachate pump station, sediment pond cleaning, all-weather access road, and erosion and sedimentation control items.
• The proposal should include all required documents, including a transmittal letter, communication concerning the solicitation, federal compliance, conflict of interest affidavit, exceptions to RFP, performance and payment bonds capability, proposal contents per plan book, client work history, contract signature page, and business requirements.
• The proposal should be submitted electronically through DemandStar, and the vendor should register for DemandStar to receive future procurement notifications.
