Professional Legal Services

The City of Farmington is seeking professional legal services to assist the City Attorney and designated officers with various projects. The selected firm will provide legal representation in areas such as general and auto liability, public official liability, police liability, personnel and labor, electric utility, water rights, eminent domain, environmental law, land use law, workers compensation, and employee benefits. The firm will be required to provide case management plan updates, respond to the City's auditor, and make presentations to the Farmington City Council when requested. The contract will be for a period of one year, with the option to renew annually until July 1, 2029. • The City reserves the right to award one or more contracts in each area of expertise. • The selected firm must be licensed to practice law in the State of New Mexico and be in good standing. • The firm must provide a clear, concise description of its qualifications and resources. • The firm must provide references and resumes of key staff members. • The firm must submit a proposed cost for its services.
