Description
The Maritime Industrial Base (MiB) is seeking companies to develop or refine products for 3D scanning within confined spaces. The ideal scanner should have a target size of 6 in x 3 in x 1 in, accuracy/resolution of 0.01 in, and be compatible with machined metal, wetted metal, and high reflectivity surfaces. The working area should be able to resolve curves, surfaces, and intersections of conjoined items within a breadbox volume. The operational environment may have high humidity, wide temperature ranges, and stable temperature during operation.
