Description
The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers (USACE), Detroit District, intends to sole source the brand-name requirement for REXA X3L Actuators as part of the 9-Mile Pump construction contract. The REXA actuators are engineered process control solutions designed to provide precise positioning, stiff control, and high reliability with minimal maintenance. The contractor and/or subcontractors can install the product, but the manufacturer, REXA, must be present at start-up to verify the installation. The required parts include Model Numbers X3L 15000-36-D-P-C2, X3L 15000-60-D-P-C2, and X3L 40000-D,P9-P-C2.
• The USACE is seeking feedback from industry through the RFI process to determine whether to conduct this portion of the procurement on a competitive basis.
• Interested parties capable of providing a compatible equivalent product should respond by email with their firm's name, UEI or Cage Code, point of contact, phone number, and email address, along with supporting documentation.
• The USACE will evaluate responses solely to determine whether to conduct the procurement competitively.
• The procurement is for the 9-Mile Pump Station project located in St. Clair Shores, Michigan.
