Description
The City of Glen Cove is seeking a consultant to provide planning, legal, and environmental consulting services for the City's Smart Growth Code Updates. The consultant will be responsible for preparing Code amendments to implement the City's Comprehensive Plan, including amendments to zoning, land use, building, and environmental regulations. The consultant will also be required to coordinate with the City and its Zoning Advisory Committee to ensure that the Code amendments achieve compliance with the State Environmental Quality Review Act (SEQRA). The project includes targeted amendments to the City's zoning code, and the consultant will be expected to provide adoption-ready Code language. The City has a budget of $166,667 for this project, and the project is expected to last from November/December 2025 to June 2027. The key services to be provided by the consultant include:
